MAIDEN 2026 STAFF DURBAR HELD FOR EMPLOYEES OF ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH DISTRICT

The Atwima Nwabiagya North District, under the leadership of Hon. Mba Zechariah Alenbilla, District Chief Executive, and the District Coordinating Director, Rev. Mr, Akowuah Antwi has organized a maiden 2026 staff durbar and send-off ceremony for some staff.

The ceremony was held on Thursday, 14th of May, 2026 at the District’s conference hall.

Officers who have retired and those who have been transfered were acknowledged for a service well delivered for the development of the Assembly.

In his opening remarks, the District Coordinating Director, Rev. Mr. Akowuah Antwi called for unity among staffs devoid of lackadaisical tune towards work.

Placing much emphasis on timeliness and work efficiency, Rev. Antwi cautioned staff to prioritize the service’s ethics and other governing rules in the services over excuses.

Rev. Akowuah urged staffs to be more professionals in thier dressing and engagement with the people as service are rendered.

He assured staff of his commitment to revive their ‘sleeping’ welfare and include other attachments to make more attractive and better.

Hon. Mba Zechariah Alenbilla, District Chief Executive (DCE) called for unity, suppot for development and assured staff of a bungalow or quarters for staff as his tenure in office.

The DCE was certain with the able staff behind him, his vision is secured and achievable.

Officers, Mr. S. M Abdul-Rahman who just retired, Mad. Dora Boaduwaa, Ms. Mustapha Hawa and Mr. Abdulia Abdul Salam who were on transfer were all appreciated for their services.

On behalf of the sending off comrades, the Hon. Richard Kwadwo Wassawu, Assemblyman for Fufuo Electoral Area who represented Mr. S. M Abdul-Rahman thanked the DCE and management for a recognized acknowledgement and prayed the District develops under their administration.

Ms. Kesia Twenewaa Tabiri, Head of Human Resource Department, was grateful to DCE and Director for the initiatives and commended staff for selfless services for the district but prayed for more. “For he who whom much is given much is expected.”

Staff who spoke with this report was baffled over what they just witnessed since nothing of the sort has been done and they were grateful to Director and DCE.
