
The Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly (ANNDA) in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, 22nd of February, 2023 had team from the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) to screened their performances over the year, 2022.
A yearly mandatory exercise which is based on an agreed key performance indicators (KPI) for execution by various directorates, departments/units.
The 2022 performance review had two Officials from the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council in the person of Mrs. Vivien Akumia, Regional Human Resource Manager – Ashanti, (HRM), and Mr. George Kwakye Andoh, the Chief Local Government Inspector A/R.
After revealing the scores obtained by each participant based on the indicators, Mrs. Vivien, leader of the team congratulated the Assembly for a good work done and urged partakers to correct any anomalies found.
In his remarks, the District Coordinating Director (DCD) of Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly was very grateful to the delegation and staff for how supportive they have been to the Officers from ARCC and asked participants to gear towards more improvement of their services to the District.
Staffs who opined to this report expressed words of gratitude to the District Chief (DCE) Hon. Rebecca Yeboah and the District Coordinating Director (DCD), Mr. S.M Abdul-Rahman and all other supportive staff whose work and services has given a facelift to the Assembly and pray they continue to work towards the interest of the Country and District at large.
Background
Performance Contract is a signed agreement between a government and a public agency which establishes key performance indicators for the agency, sets targets for measuring performance and provides rewards/ sanctions for achieving those targets.
Purpose
The examination would enable staff and the Service be committed to the achievement of its set objectives coupled with targets in service delivery within a given timeframe.
