STAFFS OF ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH DISTRICT RECEIVED CAPACITY BUILDING ON AREAS OF NEEDS.

 
The staffs of the Atwima Nwabiagya North District have received capacity building workshop on areas of needs. The three days workshop took officers through performance appraisal, Local Government Protocols and Records Management.
Those were seen as an identifiable areas of needs in capacity building whereas others would soon follow to abreast the technocrat in quality of service delivery.
The workshop was on Tuesday, the 26th of July, 2022, at the District Assembly’s Conference Hall.
The pool of participants were from various Departments/Units in the District Assembly.
A consultant from the  TACHSOL Consult Limited, Mr. Michael Offei took officers through the areas mentioned. He made sure participants have understood what was been taught through PowerPoint presentation, discussions, questions and answers and field activities.
He was optimistic that the staffs trained would be of a success to the service.
Staffs were gratified over the workshop received and the District Assembly. They prayed more of such gaps be trained upon in the ensuing service year.

ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH DISTRICT HOLDS POST-DEPAT EVALUATION SESSION

The Atwima Nwabiagya North District has geared up the staff of the District Assembly during a Post-Depat evaluation meeting.

The evaluation meeting which was chaired by the District Coordinating Director was held among the Heads of the Department/Unit at DCD’s office on the 13th July 2022.

During the engagement, the District Coordinating Director, Mr S.M Abdul-Rahman advised heads to eschew any incorrigible behavior and embrace togetherness.

He urged colleagues of the administration to accord one another whilst holding each other in a high esteem manner.

On the floor of Post-Depat, heads expressed gratitude to the District Chief Executive, Hon Rebecca Yeboah and the DCD, Mr S.M Abdul-Rahman for their administrative deeds and asked management to adhere to what’s been recommended.

LET’S ALL GREEN GHANA – DCE CALLS

 

The District Chief Executive of the Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly, Hon. Rebecca Yeboah has called on every Ghanaian, far and near especially residents in her district to venture into the tree planting campaign for it’s importance is beyond measure.

Citing various disasters on flooding, Hon. Yeboah said the growing of trees could be used to prevents such tragedies.

She added the recent climate change can be battled with growing of trees and more also minimize the unemployment spate in the country.

Hon. DCE therefore tasked everyone to make growing of trees an investment to venture.

A statement made on Tuesday, June, 7, 2022 during a stakeholders engagement with officials from the Forestry Commission at the Assembly’s Conference Hall.

In attendance were the DCE, Hon. Rebecca Yeboah, Hon. Isaac Ohemeng Prempeh, the Presiding Member of the Assembly, District Coordinating Director, Mr. S.M Abdul-Rahman, Officials from the Forestry Commission, Heads of Departments, Heads of Directorates, Assembly Members, and every one who matters.

In a related event officials from the Forestry Commission, has assured interested growers of available trees for planting at various nursery centers at no fee.

ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH DISTRICT’S POPULATION IS AT 155,025 – GSS REPORT

The Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) 2021 Population and Housing Census general report revealed Atwima Nwabiagya North District stands at 155,025.
According to the report, female gender is at 78,148 whereas male category stands at 76,877. The difference of 1,271 signifies that the majority of the residence were females in the district comparatively.
This was made known to the District Assistant Statistician of the Atwima Nwabiagya North, Mr Samuel Frimpong on the 18th of November, 2021.
He said the report will inform the Assembly in decision making and implementation of policies.

MADE IN ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH DISTRICT QUALITY NORTHERN SMOCK

Northern Smock “Fugu” is one among the top wearing apparel of the Northern people in the Region of Ghana.
The trend has descended to the southern and other regions of Ghana particularly the Ashanti. Both the young and the elderly are mostly seen with it.
The beauty alone makes it more attractive to put on and the all event apparel makes it more wearable. It has the feminist type and masculine made category. This means it is all class dress.
In the Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly where peculiar young energetic, beautiful and well educated feminists were caught weaving these Northern Kente specifically in the Asuofua-Asamang Electoral Area.
Upon enquiry it was revealed that these teen girls had had education. There were those who  were in education and uses their leisure days and hours of vacation to learn this trade whilst others have completed school preparing to further on but wants to make good use of the days ahead in life.
Investors and visitors who make a journey to the country must never forget Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly, Barekese for we have what is worth to show.

DCE JOINS REV. OB TO BREAK GROUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 3 UNIT CLASSROOM AT AKRAFO KOKOBEN

The District Chief Executive of the Atwima Nwabiagya North District, Hon. Rebecca Yeboah has joined the founder and leader of Moment of Glory Prayer Army (MOGPA), Rev. Isaac Osei Bonsu (Rev. OB) to cut sod for the construction of a 3 unit classroom, a staff common room, a headmaster’s office, washroom and a mechanised borehole for the pupil of Akrafo Kokoben D/A primary in the District Assembly.
The said educational infrastructure which commenced on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 is set for 14 months completion or more.
Dignitaries who honoured the ground breaking were Hon. Rebecca Yeboah, DCE, Hon. Isaac Ohemeng Prempeh, Presiding Member and Dean of Ashanti Regional Presiding Members, Nananom, District Education Director, Mr Frank Duah Boateng, District Coordinating Director, Mr S.M Abdul-Rahman, MOGPA representatives and Pastors, Assembly member for the area, teachers, staff of the educational Directorate, students and all protocols observed.
In her speech, the Hon. DCE was thankful to the developer (Rev. OB) and urged all private religious bodies to make example out of what MOGPA founder has done.
She held that when private institution are able to take up such mantles of development no one would be left behind leading to a country transformed.
Pastor James Adusie Mensah, who spoke on the half of Rev. OB said the future cannot be certain without education and since it falled on infrastructure, MOGPA as an entity would want to be part of it.

DCE ASKED FOR UNITY TO UPRAISE THE DISTRICT – ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH DISTRICT ASSEMBLY (ANNDA)

The District Chief Executive of the Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly has asked staff and Assembly members to collaborate to achieve development and better hoist the district to municipality.
She made this during the electoral process of the District Assembly’s Presiding Member on the 3rd of March, 2022 at the District Conference Hall.
Hon. DCE urged both staff and Assembly members to work hand-in-hand on issues pertained to development of the District not leaving out communities’ hailed from.
The President’s Representative added that the District’s uplift to Municipality could only be realized when the collaborative bond among members have become strong.

ZOOMLION FUMIGATES ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH DISTRICT TO RID OF BUGS, VIRUSES AND OTHER INFECTIOUS AGENTS.

As part of Government’s initiative to obviate bugs, viruses and related infectious agents in the country has contracted the Zoomlion Ghana Limited to make out a fumigation exercise every quarterly in a year across board.

The Atwima Nwabiagya North District had its quarterly fumigation exercise on the 5th of February, 2022, in areas such as Fufuo, Adankwame, Maaban, Asuofua-Asamang, Amakye-Bare, Akropong, Dabaa, and all nooks and crannies of the district.

Spraying was carried out by the National Malaria Control Program (NAMCOP) Spraying Gangs.

The spraying was done in various market centers, public toilets, public urinals, solid waste dumping sites, public schools, and other related places for public use.

The communities visited expressed words of gratitude to the District for such a great implemented initiative and hope it continues till later.

DISTRICT PLANNING COORDINATING UNIT OF ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH DISTRICT MET TO FURNISH FOR THE YEAR AHEAD. 

The Atwima Nwabiagya North District’ Planning Coordinating Unit has engaged heads of departments and units in furnishing the Assembly with plans for the 2022 ensuing year.
The committee which was chaired by the District Coordinating Director Mr S.M Abdul-Rahman comprised of the various heads departments and units.
The participated members contributed their quota to the agenda enshrined for discussion.
Mr Abdul-Rahman asked members to extend the invitation of the meeting to other non-governmental bodies and governmental agencies to contribute for their quota counts.
He asked members to make the development of the district a daily manner and on top of issues.
