ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH DISTRICT HOLDS POST-DEPAT EVALUATION SESSION

The Atwima Nwabiagya North District has geared up the staff of the District Assembly during a Post-Depat evaluation meeting.

The evaluation meeting which was chaired by the District Coordinating Director was held among the Heads of the Department/Unit at DCD’s office on the 13th July 2022.

During the engagement, the District Coordinating Director, Mr S.M Abdul-Rahman advised heads to eschew any incorrigible behavior and embrace togetherness.

He urged colleagues of the administration to accord one another whilst holding each other in a high esteem manner.

On the floor of Post-Depat, heads expressed gratitude to the District Chief Executive, Hon Rebecca Yeboah and the DCD, Mr S.M Abdul-Rahman for their administrative deeds and asked management to adhere to what’s been recommended.

100% CONFIRMATION FOR HON. REBECCA YEBOAH

 

The Assembly members for the Atwima Nwabiagya North District has unanimously endorsed the President’s nominee Hon. Rebecca Yeboah as District Chief Executive for administrative years ahead of the Assembly.

The event which was gracefully honoured with colourful white apparel took place on the 24th of September, 2021 at the Assembly’s Conference Hall.

In attendance were the DCE herself, Hon. Rebecca Yeboah, Representative of the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Kwabena Senkyere who is the Regional NADMO Director, Council of State Member- Ashanti, Her Excellency Georgina Kusi Adepah, Presiding Member for the quorum, Hon. Isaac Ohemeng Prempeh, District Coordinating Director, Mr S.M Abdul Rahman, Nananom, Assembly members, NPP Constituency Chairman, Nana Kwaa Dwomuo, The Divisional Command of Police and his men, staff of Atwima Nwabiagya North District, and all who matters made the occasion a memorable one.

In the electoral procedure the total number to vote was 23 and 2/3 of the quorum is needed.

Without errors all the 23 members present voted YES for her which is 100% to continue her post and after the election.

DCE Hon Rebecca Yeboah expressed gratitude to His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo Dankwah, President of the Republic for the trust reposed in her to continue the good work, Hon Benito Owusu Bio ( Dep Min of lands & MP for Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency), Her Excellency Georgina Kusi Adepah( Council of State Member- Ashanti) and entire Assembly Members for the support given.

She promised nothing but to be her best of ensuring more development in the district with everyone involved.

MAKE MAINTENANCE A HABIT, ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH DCE ADVISES LEADERS

The District Chief Executive for Atwima Nwabiagya North, Hon. Rebecca Yeboah has advised Ghanaians particularly those in leadership to make maintenance a habit in order to prolong the life span of equipment and properties under their care.

According to her, frequent maintenance  also saves cost, and increase efficiency.
The DCE made the statement when she was handing over about 300 mono desks procured by the District Assembly for Barekese SHS and Osei Tutu SHS, last Friday. With her, were Mr Kaleem Abdallah Adam, District Coordinating Director, Mr Daniel Donyinah, District Engineer, Mr Zackaria Antwi, District Procurement Officer and Mr Thomas Awuah Asem, District Information Officer.

JUDICIAL SERVICE KEY TO SOCIO – ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT; DCE for Atwima Nwabiagya North.

The District Chief Executive for Atwima Nwabiagya North, Hon. Rebecca Yeboah is canvassing for maximum support for Judicial Service since it plays key role in socio- economic growth of the Country.
She said it was absolute truth that justice played a big role in the development of every nation, and that support for operation of the Judicial Service was paramount.
The DCE made the statement when addressing a gathering at the commissioning of modern court complex at Akropong in the District.
According to her, it was true that justice played a big role in development of every nation, and provision of the facility would serve its intended purpose as those who seek justice would have it.
Apart from constructing a fit – to- use court building for the Akropong District Court, the District Assembly had also taken care of residential accommodation for resident judge.
The court was commissioned by the the Chief Justice, His Lordship Justice Akwasi Anin Yeboah. He thanked the District Authorities and the chiefs for their continous support for the Judicial Service.
The Ashanti Region Minister, Hon Simon Osei Mensah appealed to the Judicial Service to make good use of the facility and advised them maintain it.
The Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Benito Owusu-Bio reiterated the government’s effort to upholding rule of law, and supporting the administration of justice in the country.
Mr Kaleem Abdallah Adam, District Coordinating Director, Mr Richard Apietu, Deputy Judicial Secretary of Middlebelt and Northern Sector, host of prominent chiefs in the District, staff the District Assembly and staff of Judiciary Service were in attendance.
