
The District Education Director, Mr. Frank Duah Boateng has cautioned newly employed teachers of the Atwima Nwabiagya North District not to molest students under their care.
According to him, wards were brought under their care, to be taught and be an influence towards their goals in life. In situation where male teachers could not zip their zips and female teachers could not control their desires, it tarnished the profession and brings it to disrepute.
Mr. Boateng cautions them to be more professional in all their engagement with those students.
He made the statement during a day orientation organized for the newly trained teachers posted to the Directorate on Wednesday, 12th October, 2022 at the Barekese Methodist Church.
The orientation was attended by the District Education Director, Mr. Frank Duah Boateng, District Information Officer, Mr. Augustine Agyei, Mr. Edward Owusu Asamoah, In charge of supervision and monitoring, Mrs. Vivian Nsiah, In charge of Finance and Administration, as well as some selected staff of the Directorate, Representatives from the State Insurance Company (SIC), the Teacher Unions, Premier Care Insurance Company, Banks and all newly trained teachers at the said venue.
Newly trained teachers were taken through the ethics of the profession, the new curriculum, relations with community, hierarchy of communication and many others related to their services.
Such honorary event was graced with gifts and donations from sponsors, stakeholders and unions.

The Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly has held a maiden fee fixing resolution where stakeholders in various businesses have been engaged in other that questions, suggestions and concerns that would inform decisions in the 2023 budget preparation, revenue mobilisation, and development could be arrived at.
