INFORMATION SERVICES DEPARTMENT IN COLLABORATION WITH BAC, NR Bank, ORC HAS SENSITIZED AND REGISTERED INFORMAL BUSINESSES IN THE DISTRICT.

The Information Services Department of the Atwima Nwabiagya North District has collaborated with the Business Advisory Center (BAC), Nwabiagya Rural Bank (NRB), and Office of the Registrar of Companies to educate as well as get artisans in tailoring, dressing making, hair dressers, beauticians and others their business registered.

The event happened on Monday, 10th June, 2024 at the SDA Nursing and Midwifery College in Barekese.

In the programme held by the Information Services Department (ANNDA) were, representatives from the Office of the Registrar of Companies, Representatives from the Nwabiagya Rural Bank, and Representatives from the District Assembly (Revenue, Birth and Death registry, Accounts).

Participants had experts taken through the registration of business as sole proprietorship, limited, partnership etc. business expansion protocols, services on birth and death, permit and others from stakeholders present.

It was more than opportunity for artisans to be informed and as much had questionable thoughts answered.

At the end of the event, about sixty (60) skilled craft men and women had their business registered and renewed.

Participants from Barekese, Achiase, Asoufua, Tabere, Koforidua, Fufuo, Marban, Amakye-Bare, Adankwame, Essaso and other communities commended the Information Services Department for such a wonderful treat of engagement, to stakeholders for been present when they needed. They assured of cooperation and partnering.
